The Academic Council of ICEDIS is a consultative body responsible for providing opinions on all matters relating to the Institute’s training, research, and advisory activities.
It is also consulted on the recruitment of instructors, lecturers, experts, and guest speakers, in order to guarantee a high level of academic and professional standards.
The Academic Council meets at least once a year and, when necessary, at the request of the Board of Directors or the Executive Office.
The Board of Directors of ICEDIS is the body responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Institute’s management.
The Board of Directors is composed of recognized figures from the diplomatic, academic, and strategic communities, appointed for a fixed term.
The nominal list of members of the ICEDIS Board of Directors is currently being finalized.
The Academic Council and the Board of Directors draw on individuals with diverse experience, bringing together academic, diplomatic, and professional perspectives.
Former ambassadors and career diplomats, with extensive experience in embassies, international organizations, and multilateral missions, contribute their expertise in diplomatic practice and field issues.

ICEDIS develops strategic partnerships to strengthen the quality of its programs and the professional integration of its graduates.
ICEDIS partners with the Higher Institute of Information and Administration Sciences (ISCIA), based in Portugal, as its academic supervisory institution, as well as with the Ministry of External Relations for professional training and the provision of academic internships for students.
These partnerships help provide ICEDIS students with programs rooted in real-world practice and aligned with leading international standards.
